I've heard several reviews on certain types of Covergirl makeup and some are good but there are some that claim to have had adverse effects on some skin types and eye irritations occur, for others. As I do have sensitive skin, using different types of makeup that do not cater to sensitive skin, can be a complete nightmare for myself in a matter of minutes. But, I was definitely up to trying this brand, especially because it was a major brand and offered a less expensive option compared to the brand that I normally used. They also offered my skin color coverage, which is harder if not non-existent, with other brands, to cover. Below is the brand that I chose to use:
The only store that seemed to offer the "Queen CoverGirl Collection" was Walgreens. Stopped by Walmart and Target, and was not able to find this particular collection. Haven't ventured out to CVS or any other pharmaceutical store yet, but was quickly able to find it in Walgreens. Well, took the product home and set up my lights and normal routine that I use to prepare my face before I apply any makeup. The selection that I purchased was, COVERGIRL Queen Lasting Matte Pressed Powder Foundation Medium Deep, .37 Ounce. It came with a small white face applicator that felt soft like cotton and offered ample coverage. Went to work with it on my face and checked the look throughout the day for break-outs (I know...tried it during working hours!). Nothing...face remained break-out FREE! Loved it so much, I used it the remainder of the week and it covered, beautifully! With no small bumps or skin irritations. This pressed powder may just be my new norm, helping to save me money and helping me stay break-out free. I would definitely recommend purchasing this powder.
